Volunteer Teaching in Nepal at a Local School

Volunteer teaching in Nepal with IKPVA at local schools in Jarshing Pauwa, Kathmandu!

This is a great opportunity for volunteers who want to gain teaching experience while improving learning environments in rural areas of Nepal.

Your presence will open hearts and minds to life outside of a small village where ideas of life beyond their small corner of the world are seldom generated. Teaching the students and inspiring the teachers with new methods will leave your legacy in place.

I spend a month teaching in a school in Kathmandu Nepal.
It is an amazing experience, especially if you want to put your teaching skills on the line.
I have learned not only that I love what I do, but also gained confidence and good experience.
You also get to understand a different culture and meet amazing people! – Antonia Bozzolo, Las Condes

Improving the quality of education in Nepal

Educational facilities in Nepal, in the most part local community schools, lack a qualitative education system. Therefore taking classes with volunteers from developed countries is a really good option for the students of these schools.

Students are enthusiastic, bright and eager to learn. We believe that receiving classes from teachers from across the world not only improves the learning process, but also opens up multiple dimensions to educational exercises, and helps the local teachers too.

Teaching English at a Local School in Jarshing Pauwa, Kathmandu

In Nepal, English is learned as a second language and is essential for academic and professional success, but often students here find it a difficult subject to advance in. Hence this project is primarily orientated towards teaching English; but depending on your interest and skills you can also contribute by teaching Mathematics, Science, Computer Basics or Arts.
